FIRMINA “Little journey”

My work, allows me to have a lot of time and constant contact with the public. This is the aspect of my job I prefer. The largest percentage of my clients are women and I have discovered the pleasure of simple conversations between people of the same sex: sometimes useless chatter, sometimes unexpected confessions to people who instinctively inspire trust or even to strangers of whom, precisely because such, there is no fear of any judgment. A woman is the protagonist of the following story that is part of a series of little female confidences. There are no heroes, there are no striking facts, nothing and no one has been changed by what has been told. I decided to report only a fact, more or less, as I was told, adding something and removing something else, because in the simplicity of the woman, protagonist of what I call a ``little journey``, I found pearls of wisdom and sensitivity that I crystallized in my mind while she told me the story of her life which obviously continued well beyond the parenthesis object of my short story.
